On my lunch break I took my old MSR XGK stove with a broken pump to MSR to be cleaned and have the pump fixed. Dude behind the counter hands me a new stove and pump and charges me the rate for just cleaning the stove ($20.00). Can't beat that deal with a stick.

Cool, I have an old XGK that I will try that with. I have gotten the same service with Kershaw knives. Almost every time I have sent my knife in for a factory sharpening they send me back a brand new knife for free. Course it never hurts to schmooz em with a nice letter about how great the product is. I have had really good luck w TNF products too. Thanks for the tip. Where is MSR located?

[Bug]

Is there any way to get hold of MSR on the phone?

I have a tent with a broken part and I cannot find anyone who can help me replace the part. REI said thay cannot contact MSR. Is there another store around that sells MSR that might be willing to contact the company to get me the part?

Bought a Hubba Hubba at REI garage sale a few months back that needed a new pole segment and I only had to pay to ship it to them.
