Panos Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Anybody having an idea where we can get the following guide books: 1) Waterfall Ice: Climbs in the Canadian Rockies - Joe Josephson 2) Mixed Climbs in the Canadian Rockies - Sean Isaac 3) Something good and updated for Hyalite. We need them quickly. Borrowing from a library would do but if we need to buy them that's fine. The question is where in Seattle ? Thanks for checking this Quote
kurthicks Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 The new Hyalite book is called "Winter Dance" and is written by Joe Josephson. Quote
Panos Posted December 4, 2007 Author Posted December 4, 2007 Looks a very good book indeed. Thank you for the info. Ibex Quote
Hendershot Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 If you are headed to the Canmore Festival this weekend, they will have books there. Joe Joesephson sold me Winter Dance out of the back of his car last weekend in Bozeman. Quote
swaterfall Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Call Feathered Friends. They have a good guide book selection. So does 2nd Ascent. Quote
Panos Posted December 6, 2007 Author Posted December 6, 2007 OK, we are all set. Thank you guys. Ibex Quote
builder206 Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 The Mountaineers' bookstore seems to have more of everything and a much more comprehensive selection than any retail store around here. Quote
