jon Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 So I'm trying to paste some data between workbooks in excel, and it keeps changing the dates in one of the columns. I've played with the formatting, tried pasting special, no thing is working. Any xls gurus out there have any ideas? Quote
Gary_Yngve Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 is that column raw data or generated by expressions/macros? can you bypass excel by manipulating a csv file? Quote
jon Posted August 20, 2007 Author Posted August 20, 2007 http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel/HP100541411033.aspx#Issue1 It's raw data. I guess they have different date formats! Brilliant! For some reason I thought this was retribution for using the wrong TPS report cover sheet! Quote

TREETOAD Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 can't you just erase it and pencil in the correct date?? Quote
counterfeitfake Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 I feel your pain. Today I found a word doc that will reboot your computer if you try to print it. OMG WTF. Quote
