These discoveries will shake the very foundations of geological understanding of the PNW. All my life I have been raised in this area believing the north summit of greenwood mountain was not, in fact, taller. Sure, rumors existed this may have been the case, but we were taught it was merely heresay, spread by errant climbers arriving on the wrong summit. Now all I knew, all i had come to understand, turns out to be a lie. I'm not sure where I am going to go from here. With as much confusion I have in my head, i can't imagine what the geologic science community must be feeling right now...
