Anyone know of a good pair of high performance, wide as hell, lined climbing shoes? I've got damn wide feet and I stretch the hell out of all my unlined shoes, to the point where I can't backstep to save my life, and all the lined ones that fit on my foot end up having a big gap at the toes because my feet are too wide fit into the correct size. I've tried Miura's and the typical REI stock, and none of those work. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

I think Boreals tend to run wide, from what I remember from having a pair of Aces.

Sportivas tend to run narrow, however, a friend of mine and my ex-gf both have feet like paddles and can wear their lace-ups.

I have a pair of Acopa slippers. My feet are quite narrow (sportivas usually work best for me) and they are snug as a bug (We'll flourish on your smelly feet) in a rug.

Just a different data point.

Boreals I know tend to run wide.

I, too, have just stupid-wide feet (due to bunions), and have had much of the same problems you are experiencing. In a pinch, I had to pick up a new pair of shoes over in Leavenworth, and got a pair of La Sportiva Focus'. As I understand it, they aren't typically made for wide feet, but these fit and climb great. Five Tens run wide, but will probably stretch on you. Good luck.

Just got a pair of La Sportiva Mega's. Wide, lined, pretty good sensitivity for a board lasted shoe. I love this shoe. Better for cracks though, if you're into that kind of thing.
