Viamont Tricams

Anybody here try these? Good - bad - yawn? Was thinking of checking out a few in the smaller sizes.

I love all things TriCam but I heard these are teh suck. They are supposedly too narrow and wobble more than real TriCams. I wouldn't cough up $$$ for them unless you find somebody who already has them, try them and like them first.

I know the US distributor. I will ask to play around with them and let you know what I find out. Their stoppers are pretty good, IMO, with a little longer cable for out of reach placements.

looks like it combined the hastle of tricams with the pest of wired hexes.

 

i think the good part of traditional tricams is the fabric sling on them, great for going over horizontal edges.
