If it were me, I'd paddle up Ross Lake(if the roads were closed from Hope).

 

Ross Lake isn't too high(1600 feet), so the trail into Hozomeen Lake shouldn't be too much of a snow slog most times of the year.

Just my $0.02.

 

Last time I was there, there we naked German girls swimming in that lake. If you see them, tell them Bill seit, "Guten Tag!"
