cman
went for an afternoon backcountry ski up above source lake and it was snowing pretty hard. there was almost a foot of new snow up high, still a little funky underneath. it should be a return to the deep stuff this week! RogerJ
Just got back From Mt Hood. There was about 7 or so inches of fresh between 4K and 6K. The 50+ mph winds above the timberline were reason to stay in the trees. More snow is coming! -r

crazy_t
I was just lamenting the potential end of fresh deepness at a party this Friday. Looks like I may have to dry those tears... Hope to get up later this week, any 1st hand snow/stability reports from Snoqualmie Pass and on would be appreciated!
fheimerd
anybody want to head up to hood or helens this friday?? weather is supposed to be clear and cold and all that new snow should be somewhat settled for some awesome backcountry turns.
