Bigtree Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 I found the following Google videos through the www.mazamas.org website and am shamelessly reposting here for others. The first video describes the gear (or lack thereof) Steve House and Vince Anderson used on their Nanga Parbat (26 658') ascent via the Rupal Face (13 500') in September '05. [gvideo]6682751795170095622&q=steve+house[/gvideo] The second video describes Steve's clothing system. Seems like a Patagonia advert to some extent but I still found it of interest. crazy_t Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 (edited) Posted on Patagonia's site, with more climbing/surfing etc. content. Go to the company info link on the bottom of the home page, then ambassadors, then choose. Great stuff! Edited January 21, 2007 by crazy_t Quote
Kevin_Matlock Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Good info. Wonder what he made his pot insulator out of? Almost looks like 12oz soda cans! Interesting. Quote
Ziff Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 It looks like the one that comes with the MSR stove hanging kit. Quote
Buckaroo Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 thanks for the link!! the only question he didn't answer was what pack he used? I wonder if he used all 6 tops at once? Quote
