Crackman Posted November 27, 2002 Posted November 27, 2002 Planning to head up Fri-Sat and see if any of the NE routes might go - Cooper Spur, N Face, Elliot HW or Sunshine. Curious to hear conditions if anyone has been on that side of the mountain recently. I'm guessing it's pretty thin. May be looking for a partner as well. Quote
iain Posted November 27, 2002 Posted November 27, 2002 I was wondering the same thing. I might skin up there to get a feel for what's happening over there. Quote
eric8 Posted November 27, 2002 Posted November 27, 2002 why don't you let us know, so those of us in washington don't have to drive down if there not. Quote
iain Posted November 27, 2002 Posted November 27, 2002 would you like me to go get some coffee for you too? perhaps a macchiato? Quote

They will all go; any time of year; in any conditions. It's just up to you. Quote

Crackman Posted November 27, 2002 Author Posted November 27, 2002 Guess I'll have to decide just how "spicy" I like it! Quote
rbw1966 Posted November 27, 2002 Posted November 27, 2002 I was up there about a month ago, maybe less. Cooper Spur was a rock climb, both North Face gullies were barren and the approach to the gullies themselves was like charging a machine gun nest. Eliot looked pretty exciting as well. Â I'll wait for more snow myself. Have fun, wear a helmet and bring me back a doppio. Quote

Don't get me wrong, I bailed on the west gully last May because of Slab avy potential. Quote
