lancegranite Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Taken from an email recieved this week from a friend very very far away. "these are taken in northern Mosul at about 3000'. The valley below is where King Alexander fought a huge battle with the King of Babalon." Quote
Dechristo Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Your friend is crazy! Fighting the war in Iraq is one thing; but, rockclimbing? That's dangerous! Quote

bwrts Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Nice pictures, Lance! Thanks for sharing... here is to the safe return of our friend.... Takes a different breed of "brave souls" to put yourself in that situation. Only the utmost respect and admiration I have for someone like him. Look fwd to tying in a rope with D soon. Quote
lancegranite Posted December 14, 2006 Author Posted December 14, 2006 (edited) Cattalk enjoying his new home wall. Holds by Metolius, rifle by Colt. It's good to remember that climbers are doing their part for the cause. He's a great guy, and loved by everyone who knows him. D was my partner for years, he loves to climb and is from Snohomish. Shoot him a PM, I'm sure he would appreciate it. Link to Cattalks info Edited December 14, 2006 by lancegranite Quote
