zl27 Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Keep in mind that insurance prices have skyrocketed across the board in the last few years due to hurricane losses. The re-insurance firms have to get their profits somewhere. Quote

Kat_Roslyn Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 I have been recently disabled for the next 6 months. My finances came from Pell grants and students loans not only can I not go to school I am not sure if I am allowed to recieve state assistance with medical bills that insurance doesn't cover and rent and food etc. because I may jeopardized my insurance benefits if I were to file independent with the state. Though I am I have to say I am dependent with my mother to still receive insurance. Not only are my funds gone, car, had to move, my boyfriend and mom have been taking care of me and my boyfriend and have been missing work. Without support from family I don't see how I could survive. Quote

sobo Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Shite, Kat! I'm really sorry to hear about that. What's the prognosis? If I may be so bold as to ask... what happened? PM if you want to. Quote
