AlpineK Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 Alex Shigo dies. Not that that many of you would know him, but its kind of a big deal for arboriculture "Dr. Shigo’s work in Arbor Care and the development of the CODIT model have completely changed the industry. In his recent retirement, he had freely given of his time to students and educators to expand the knowledge of all of the participants. He will be missed by all who work in biology and arbor care." G-spotter Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Also more news for tree climbers: "Trailer Park Boys - the Movie" was the 11th highest grossing film in North America last week, despite not having a distributor in the USA. Quote
Dechristo Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 How sad that there's an eleventh grossest movie in one week in North America. Quote
AlpineK Posted October 12, 2006 Author Posted October 12, 2006 Fuck off Dru. This is a pretty big deal, Shigo was pretty important in the world of arborists. I like TPB, but try and show some respect. Quote
