iain Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 didn't you just read above that fritschis outperform dynafits any day? Quote
Arc Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Whatever. I'm done with this one.........Some people chose to be ignorant without due cause. Quote
iain Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 arc how's your season pass working for you here: http://www.skibrokeback.com/ Quote
Arc Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Actually loved the place years ago, just don't do inbounds anymore. Quote
ericb Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 There was a comment that the 3#, 3oz weight differential isn't much. In your pack, maybe not, but on your feet, it's noticeable. Quote
Mr_Phil Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 They aren't very good for in-bounds either. Why not? Quote
plexus Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 I can only afford one set of gear and was looking for the "perfect" binding to mount on my new Shuksans. I thought it was the Dynafits but a gear head friend of mine is strongly suggesting I pick up a pair of Silvretta Pure Performance AT Bindings. More versatile and very light (1.23 kg) compared to other non-Dynafit bindings. I can't speak from experience but I've heard durability issues with the Pure's. Also you should know now that you have entered this discussion, I've learned that Dynafit users are fiercely loyal. It might have something to do with the gear. I know if I hadn't already plunked a lot of change down on a pair of AT boots that aren't Dynafit compatable, I would probably go that route. However I can't complain about my used pair of Fritschis with my limited experience on them. Quote
Arc Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Hell, I just might be ordering a set of Dynafit TLT's just to check them out. Curious regardless of the pro's and con's....They will go fine with my Matrix dogs. Quote
