Whistler Rando Races?

Just wondering if there are any local races around Whistler, just for fun sort of deals.

I think that there was the life-link rando series. But that race already occurred this past Jan. Perhaps you'll have to wait until next year. Not sure if there are any others.

How small is small

 

Men's recreational category had 16 entrants, Men's race category 21.

 

For the women there were 2 in the race cat, 9 in the rec category.

Ok, thats small but something not afffiliated with a race series, just for fun, locals, no prizes, no hoopla, just some folks getting together for a little friendly competition.

if you are looking for a challenge you should gets a some folks together to try the spearhead in a day. its a race against darkness.

Stay away from Whistler the weekend of April 22/23 as the two races at this event will be the exact opposite of what you have described.
