sketchfest Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 So now that Addidas has sold ArcTeryx, does anybody know who bought it? or heard what the plan might be? Quote
Dru Posted January 28, 2006 Author Posted January 28, 2006 It was Salomon that owned arcTeryx... altho Salomon is owned by Adidas. Quote
murraysovereign Posted January 28, 2006 Posted January 28, 2006 Adidas sold Salomon - including Arc'Teryx - to Amer Sports (Suunto, Wilson, Atomic). As far as I know, the plan is to keep doing what they're doing, just under a new corporate parent. I don't imagine the consumer will notice any difference in product design or quality, much like when Salomon-Adidas bought them a few years back. They may reorganize a little internally to fit into the larger corporate structure, but that's about it. Quote
Dru Posted January 28, 2006 Author Posted January 28, 2006 Maybe they will make a jacket with a built in compass? Quote
murraysovereign Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 You want that with or without the altimeter? Quote
