Specifically Hatchethead mtn. Concerned about snow level, avy condition and if I can skin from the parking lot. Also, any latest news in the Duffey lake area. Considering also Wendy Thomson or Vantage (Cerise). I'm a novice at Avy assessment and a bit worried about conditions. Anyone else worried? You can read through this ongoing thread on Telemarktips.com to get a feel for conditions in the Whistler & Duffey backcountry. Some good bits of info here as well.
