Geek_the_Greek Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 I think I figured out the inspiration for their colour scheme: Quote
kahurangi Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I had a chance to get a set and use them back in Minnesota the last week in December. I really like the axes. They have really good penetration on ice with a really solid swing. They also kicked some booty when it came to the dry tool arena. Quote
astro Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 I had a chance to use the x-monsters (and the Nomics) at the Ouray Ice Fest a couple weeks ago. I wasn't too impressed with the Grivel (except that it is nearly 1/4 the price of a pair of Nomics). The tools pumped me out pretty quickly, and I didn't like the balance too much. The Nomics, on the other hand, were incredible. Great swing weight, solid, easy to match, and the pinky rest thing is adjustable. Now if only I had $550 to spend on a new set of tools... Quote
John Frieh Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 The XMonster and regular Monster will be available to demo at the PDX Ice Festival Quote
fenderfour Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 What about the Alp Monster and Little Monster ? Quote
John Frieh Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 I'll see if Tony has some for demo. Quote
Ron Mexico Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 So does anybody use and like the Grivel Monsters? Quote
