North Face Shuksan approach

Can someone offer approach beta for the North Face of Shuksan. I cannot seem to make sense of the directions in Select Climbs. Where does one park and start from?

park at the ski lodge. the road is on the left as you round the hairpin turn, a mile or so before the main road ends. walk up the dirt road on the west (right) side of the valley until you come to a clearcut on the left. leave the road here, heading downhill, and cross the river in the valley.

i would try to gain the arm that leads to the north shoulder, rather than thrashing through the valley.

Yes, the White Salmon Lodge. If you are choosing to head up the valley, be mindful of avalanches off of Shuksan Arm and the White Salmon. This should be a good weekend for it!

Do NOT try thrashing through the valley. Pain in the butt. I hear the forest ridge is better. Curious to find out...
