Here's some some snaps for all you conditions hounds... South Middle and North Middle Broken, South and Bachy North Topping out the Bowling Alley Bowling Alley exit Looking down across the SW face of North Edited June 18, 2005 by Hal_Burton
Cobra_Commander
Your photo of the bowling alley doesn't quite jive with the other bluebird photos. P.S. This trip report is irrelevant without your documented split times between summits. Go back and do it again. P.P.S. Yeah! Nice.

Hal_Burton
Nice job! I hope you had skis I was hoping I had them too. It must be a sin to lay a ski-less boot upon some of the corn I was walking down. As for Chriznitch: out of curiosity, how many entries are in that NS register now? It's been there for 13 months. The ammo box is there, but the note book he put in there last year is gone. If anyone with an interest in summit regs is heading up North Sis, you might consider carrying up a new Rite-in-the-Rain. Chriznitch
yeah--I thought an independent register (not Mazamas, not Mountaineers, etc.) would have a better chance at remaining up there. What the hell? At least the heavy part (ammo box) is still there. I also thought that NS's difficulties would filter out riff-raff! Pretty sad that someone would actually toss out a nice new book...didn't even last a 2nd season Anyways, thanks for the update Hal. Again--great climbing adventure
gapertimmy
It must be a sin to lay a ski-less boot upon some of the corn I was walking down. I believe you can get a ticket from the G.T.C.P. (gapertimmycornpatrol) for unlawful use and or/defacing of a corn slope. you are lucky non of our troopers were on patrol that day. We also offer a self-help program and group assistance for those who travel in the 3 sisters without skis.
