old softshell condition problems

Any tips on how to remove all the pits/pills/ball-ups or whatever you call em's that have developed all over my older schoeller pants?

I don't really give a rat's a** but I occasionally wear them at lift areas or at for example a slopeside bar in whistler village.

The wear gives them character and makes you look like a hardman.

Also seems like the pills are just asking to hold water so they don't shed rain as well. I've thought about breaking out a beard trimmer but haven't tried it yet.

use a lighter and don't hold the flame too close or you will not only melt off the pill but burn a hole in the fabric like marylou did

Ask your wife if she has one of those batt operated sweater shaver gizmos. They are made to do exactly what you're asking.
