Cpt.Caveman Posted October 22, 2002 Author Posted October 22, 2002 I think I drank 8000 beers sunday I guess if anyone was desperate enough they could go ski Rainier or some other volcanoe. It's not that good up there yet. Quote

Cpt.Caveman Posted October 22, 2002 Author Posted October 22, 2002 The northwest will never be dry in winter during my lifetime. Maybe dryer than normal is a good description. There will be abundant amounts of snow eventually. I am not desperate enough to travel with skis on my back up in the mountains yet. Heck if it's that bad I can always do some great winter mountaineering. Quote

Beck Posted October 22, 2002 Posted October 22, 2002 watch for the combination of a large push of marine moisture coupled with nightime freezing levels of 5500 feet and you stand SOME chance of scoring good turns on the heather of Harts Pass area or off the north side just east of where the gate is. I'm hoping it's gonna happen for me by halloween, anyone want to go there this weekend if the weather rolls? Quote
