OlegV Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 I've been toying around with an idea attempting Sandy HW in January. Anyone have been out there recently? It seems to me avi conditions are high. Quote
sketchfest Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 Hey Oleg, did you guy's get in to the N. face? Quote
OlegV Posted January 12, 2005 Author Posted January 12, 2005 No we didn't go. Avi forecast looked kind of marginal. I did hike up the Eliot next day to check on snow conditions - soft powder up to 8000 ft. Both gullies are snowed in. You never know before you try it. Quote
sketchfest Posted January 12, 2005 Posted January 12, 2005 For sure, at least you got out. Still way better than being stuck in an office all day! Quote
letsroll Posted January 20, 2005 Posted January 20, 2005 I would think this weekend would be almost ideal. After the rain and the wam temps. Looks like sunday would be the best of the two days. Quote
OlegV Posted January 21, 2005 Author Posted January 21, 2005 Looks like another Pineapple express is on its way: http://nwac.us/~nwac/products/SABNW Say "good bye" to NF! Shit, what's wrong with weather. Global warming? Quote

Harkin_Banks Posted January 21, 2005 Posted January 21, 2005 yeaaaah game on! let's see who can get on it in the worst condition possible, like this weekend. I think it could get in worse shape though...like when it's erupting or something Quote
