Peter_Puget Posted November 7, 2004 Author Posted November 7, 2004 It was pretty damp - you have to pick the right places to climb Quote
lunger Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 yup yup! did you hang at lower walls? happen to see the condition of dh/lovin' arms and/or the diamond? dry rock desirable. Quote
Rad Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 Leavenworth was dry today, even saw some sunshine! Quote
ken4ord Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Idex looked a little damp on Sunday, but L-town was dry and we saw some sun too. Quote
specialed Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Index was great on Sunday. After a way sketchy exposed slabby moss traverse by Lunger we got on GM to the easy .11 then rapped down and did Heart of the Country, then went over and messed around on Cunning Stunt and some other Country crag pitches. All totally dry. Even saw some sun. It was real nice. Quote
lunger Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 that was a way sketchy exposed wet slabby *dyno* moss traverse. thumpity stupid thump. awesome day there yesterday, perfect temps. finally climbed the second pitch of HotC, highly recommend it. you can get there from the big ledge one pitch up GM (as we did), or belly up to the 10b-R. great late-season cragging day. ken4ord Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 Damn, I guess we should of got a latter start. I would have liked to climb at Index. Quote
