Stefan Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Anybody seen any snow up high in the Enchantments this week or heard of people talking about snow? I know the freezing level is at 7500 feet today, but I was wondering if and how much the Enchantments received in snow way up high. I would like to climb on something high....just not on slippery wet rock this weekend. Thanks for the beta! Quote
Dru Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 There are people talking about snow in *The Freshiezone* Quote
Alasdair Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 It was snowing above 8,000 on Stuart yesterday. There wont be any accumulation in the Enchantments basin. Quote
lost_arrow Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 started snowing on dragontail while we were there - cold and windy Quote
Dustin_B Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 On saturday on top of Prusik, 8,000 feet, it felt like it was 70 degrees. That would be quite a change in weather but I guess it could happen. When it started raining at Aasgard pass (7800ft) Saturday afternoon it was still quite warm. I don't suppose this post is of any help..... Quote
Stefan Posted August 27, 2004 Author Posted August 27, 2004 Thanks for the info. Any new info from anybody? Quote
