You're just desperately hanging onto any shred of hope that you might not have to be a loser forever. Einstein was the exeption, not the rule.

That guy is a moron. The disease in humans associated with "mad cow disease" is new variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob's disease. Guess how many people in the United States have died from that disease? Answer: one. One person, and that individual was exposed to the disease in the U.K. In total, 156 people worldwide have died from this disease; hardly and "epidemic." Practices such as feeding cattle meat and bone meal (widely believed to have caused the initial outbreaks in the U.K.) have been banned. This guy is just another alarmist conspiracy theory wack job looking for a cause. Hopefully he doesn't still walk around with foil wrapped around his head to keep the the "brain scrambler" on Sputnik from cooking his non-existent brain. Keep eating beef in moderation, it is good for you (lots of iron, protein, and fat).

Some new studies suggest perhaps you shouldn't be quite so smug JJD. Also, be aware that Bseinfo.org is funded by the the beef industry. On the otherhand, other "foundations" out there that are more alarmist about BSE are funded by environmental organizations with an anti-cow agenda. Me, I just figure it for a good justification to eat more steak and less hamburger.

 

Several studies, including the one by Manuelidis, have found autopsies reveal 3-percent-to-13-percent of patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's or dementia actually suffered from CJD. Those numbers might sound low, but there are 4-million Alzheimer's cases and hundreds of thousands of dementia cases in the United States. A small percentage of those cases could add up to 120,000 or more CJD victims going undetected and not included in official statistics.
