Collin Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 Any routes that are a must do. I'll be out there in 3 weeks and would like to get as many routes in as possible. Quote
lancegranite Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 Crack of doom, best crack in the city. Quote
lummox Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 Crack of doom, best crack in the city. you mean that boulder problem with the 5.8 hand crack finish? whatever. scar tissue is better. as for the query: in three weeks you will climb everything. Quote
minx Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 do a search for city of rocks. there was good thread on the climber's board maybe a year or so ago. try some of the new stuff and give us a report. i've heard good things. Quote
Thinker Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 what grade(s) are you targeting? make sure you stop by the info board near the main parking/picnic area to check for raptor closures. The previous thread has loads of info about where to camp for free. Have you called the park office recently to check on snow conditions? elevation there = 6,000' + Quote
lancegranite Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 Terror of tiny town 4th. best crack in the city. Quote
RyanTriplett Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 She's the Bosch is a classic, though often hindered by the mentioned raptor closures. Quote
Distel32 Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 snow is mostly melted out. FAs of new boulder problems to be had at the ranch. Quote
Collin Posted April 1, 2004 Author Posted April 1, 2004 I climb/lead 10s mostly but if there is some good 11s, I'll jump on them. I haven't checked the snow report but I will now, thanks. Quote
