minx Posted March 16, 2004 Posted March 16, 2004 just picked up a pair of these this weekend. i was little hesitant to buy a slipper b/c i generally just don't need the sensitivity (i'm not that good) and thus don't get value out of the discomfort. so far i like these shoes. they still need to stretch a smidge before i'll love them. this is my first experience w/a synthetic shoe. does anyone have any thoughts on these or other synthetic shoes? RuMR Posted March 16, 2004 Posted March 16, 2004 synthetic is the way to go...plus, you can throw them in the washing machine, put them next to the vents under a fridge to dry and they are ready to go the next day w/ no stink left in them... Anasazi velcros and laceups are the BEST shoe out there in my feeble mind... Quote
cracked Posted March 16, 2004 Posted March 16, 2004 But only if they fit you. I've never found a 5.10 sport shoe that was even remotely large enough for my feet. So I can't have an opinion. I can't understand why they don't make size 14 anasazis! Quote
cracked Posted March 16, 2004 Posted March 16, 2004 Yeah, Dru, I'm on the Boreals myself....but they're awfully boxy for foot jams. Quote
Dru Posted March 16, 2004 Posted March 16, 2004 they excel for foot jams for tippy toe jamming in thin cracks though, slippers are a bit better i will admit Quote
