Alpinfox
Neat, the Trango "Superfly" Lightweight biner is also the "lightest full-size biner in the world". Â Weight: 30g Major Axis: 24 kN Minor Axis: 7 kN Gate Open: 9 kN Â
Squid
Ah, but Foxy, you neglect to savor the fact that WC has made a 'keylock' biner. What could be finer?
Alpinfox
yeah man, but its three grams... THREE GRAMS!!!! Â I mean, with my light-and-fast=safety, hairball, alpine style, that could be the difference between life and death! Â Â p.s. Don't I have a book of yours? catbirdseat
Nice design, but at $11 they won't be turning up in mass quantities on my rack.
Rodchester
Nice design, but at $11 they won't be turning up in mass quantities on my rack. Â Foxie's got it right. Â At $7.50 , they ain't cheap but they ain't too high priced. Â Also the Lightweight Wire Gate is only 2 grams more than the WC and priced at only $5.95. I have a bunch of these and I love them. Â They carry them at Second Ascent in Ballard. Â Edited February 27, 2004 by Rodchester
Squid
Yep, I think you do have my book. You better give it back, or I'll never learn to read.
Alpinfox
Â Well I never see you at Stoner Gardens anymore, I guess your home gym is working out for you? Â Perhaps I could return your book at a pub club or sumfin?
Squid
Sounds good- it sounds like this weeks PC will be at the College Inn (notice my subtle strong-arm tactics). I probably won't show 'til late.
matt_m
Check out both of these - the wild countrys are awesome - orderd up a dozen of them asap. The trango is sick light (smaller than the WC but not neutrino small) Mammut also has the same manufacturer for their version of the trango superfly -some company in Italy i think. Two biggest plusses for the WC are the wire gate AND rope radius - the ultralight is like the old standard bd light d!
