Dru Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 hey distel did you check out the beach bouldering in this cave yet? Quote
Dru Posted February 11, 2004 Posted February 11, 2004 on the beach where that sandstone is by deception pass. chalk all over it last time i was there Quote
EWolfe Posted February 12, 2004 Posted February 12, 2004 There's a good bit of bouldering under the deception pass bridge on the park side of deception pass beach. Just West a bit. Decent traverse, and a overhanging v-slot that is fun. There's probably more. Quote
plexus Posted February 12, 2004 Posted February 12, 2004 Ahh, makes me reminisce about living in Anacortes. It always surprised me not to see anybody else at the beach bouldering years ago. Also some good stuff at Washington Park and more at Erie, if you don't mind a factor 2 fall on your vertibrae if you miss!! There's some good stuff by the top of the main wall and also to the west of the upper wall. Quote
catbirdseat Posted February 12, 2004 Posted February 12, 2004 Yeah, that's where trask said he used to go. Quote
Norsky Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 on the beach where that sandstone is by deception pass. chalk all over it last time i was there Hey, is the cave on the park side of the bridge? Looks like it has lots of probs. Gotta have some moderates for the likes of me! Quote

I usually dressed in black and white and make whale sounds. They took me for an orca and skidaddled!! Quote
