2.)why you should be a judge.

 

I will not let anyone know that you were a judge, and feel free to select your own photo.

 

I will take the pool of contenders and put them in categories I deem appropriate.

I'd like to get this over with soon, so pm me ASAP. Judging entries are due by tuesday at 6pm.

I'm hoping to have around 5-10 judges and around 30 photos to choose from out of the hundred or more entered.

Layton, if you decide the categories NOW, it will be easier to choose photos accordingly. For example there are a couple ski shots but no ski category so where would they go. Bouldering could be it's own section, or just under climbing. Beware if you start including sub-categories as you may open pandora's box. As I saw it there were 3 categories:

1: Climbing (photos with climbers in them)

2: Scenic/landscape (no climbers)

3: Humor (could be anything)

 

If you add skiing, you should open it up to more entries.

 

Scenic could be divided into NW and then outside the northwest as there are many great photos in this category.

 

I hope no one submitted a photo they didn't take with out stating so!

I plan on taking all the entries submitted by judges and creating the categories based on the photos submitted for concideration. So if you are a judge, be sure to submit not only quality shots, but also a wide array of venues.
