Sabertooth Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 I have been trying to get ahold of this book for about a year now. It is out of print and difficult to find. I am willing to pay $50 plus shipping for it. I have tryed buying it used through Amazon and Ebay, but with no luck. If you are willing to depart with your copy, I would greatly appreciate it. Quote
kurthicks Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 they've got it in special collections over at the University of Idaho...and one you can check out if you're a student. Bug Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 If it is like 'Montana Rock', take some extra leave slings. Quote
sobo Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 Saber, I see you've upped the ante $10, eh? As I said in my PM back to you a coupla days ago, I'd let you borrow mine, but I'd definitely want it back. You could copy it (insert copyright graemlin here) and return it, or I could arrange to have a copy of it find its way to you. Quote
sobo Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 ...do you know how many pages it is (for copying costs)? If memory serves, methinks its about 60 pages or so, if you don't want the appendices/index. Quote
sobo Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 If it is like 'Montana Rock', take some extra leave slings. Yes. Never hurts, especially once you get deeper into the Selkirks where the climbs aren't visited as much as, say, Chimney Rock. Quote

Hmmm. I guess this would work as a last resort. Too bad I don't know anyone at the University. Quote

How much do you want, including shipping, if you send me a copy of it? Quote
sobo Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 Tell me how far away "on a mountain" is from Yakivegas and I'll let you know. Quote
Sabertooth Posted February 5, 2004 Author Posted February 5, 2004 I thought you already knew that, but to refresh your memory, the current mountain is approximately 204.28 miles from the center of Yakima. Quote
sobo Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 D'oh! Attack of the brainfarts! I remember now. Gawd, do I feel stoopid. Re: Idaho Rock, check your PMs. Quote
