philfort Posted January 16, 2004 Author Posted January 16, 2004 Download the highres version, save it as a .mp4 file, quicktime will play it. Quote
savaiusini Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 yeah, I couldn't get it to work either. Quote
Jake Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 Aww. What the hell? So how exactly do you get it to work? I just get some weird garbled wordpad stuff. Quote
scot'teryx Posted January 16, 2004 Posted January 16, 2004 yeah, the high res version open wordpad with some encripted crap. I watched the low res version but now I have a headache from trying to watch it heres the raw directory: http://www.mtbaker.us/gallery0304/videos/ Quote
philfort Posted January 16, 2004 Author Posted January 16, 2004 This is what I did: Assuming you're using IE, right click on the link for the 14mb file, and choose "Save Target As", then type in a name for the file that ends in .mp4, like "foo.mp4". Then change the "Save as Type" box to "All Files". Then hit save. Then that should work (it'll give you a foo.mp4 file whereever you saved it), assuming you've got the latest quicktime. I think this is the first video on Baker's website that I've ever figured out how to watch - they certainly have issues with the way they host them. Quote
