Sabertooth Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 Probably a long shot, but does anyone know if Palouse Falls is frozen over in Southeastern Washington, near Lyons Ferry? The current forecast for Washtucna calls for temps around 40 coming midweek, but it's been really cold recently. Quote
sobo Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 Has it ever frozen over enough to climb? I don't think so. Quote
kurthicks Posted January 6, 2004 Posted January 6, 2004 no way man. i think there is way too much volume pouring out of that one for it to ever form up. perhaps something could come in on the sides of it, but it would be dead vertical on shitty basalt. on the other side, there are some other climbs in the area which have been pretty climbable...but bulletproof. it's about -2 in Pullman right now.
