HRoark Posted December 14, 2003 Posted December 14, 2003 I have family in Northern Spain; the foothills of the Pyrenees, to be exact. I would like to go visit them, and would like to include some climbing in my plans. So, my question is, where to start looking for climbing information on a specific section of Europe? Any input would be appreciated. Please don't spray in the Climber's Board Forum, that's just rude. Howard Quote
cj001f Posted December 14, 2003 Posted December 14, 2003 Depending on where you are located, check out the Mountaineers, Mazamas, or AAC library. Quote
chelle Posted December 14, 2003 Posted December 14, 2003 Cj's suggestion is a good one. There are a lot of guidebooks available at the Mountaineers bookstore in Lower Queen Anne. You can also check for info at the adventurous traveler bookstore online. Depending on the type of climbing you're looking to do, I have a book that covers the 4000m peaks in Europe. Get in touch via pm. Quote

mtn_mouse Posted December 14, 2003 Posted December 14, 2003 A friend of mine went climbing in Andorra and went up pico de pederos. He and his wife had a great time, said that is the place to visit in Europe. Quote
