Snow Creek Wall conditions

Hello all,

Anyone been by Snow Creek Wall lately? I am wondering how the routes look. Does snow accumulate easily on the face? Thanks for you info.

its a slab with ledges of course snow is going to accumulate. werd on the street (actually my friend in lworth) said they got about 4" in town yesterday and the day b4.

 

so climbing scw is going to involve a bit of sports action to get to the top. and i do know people who have climbed it in the winter all mixed like.

here is a pic from today. scw would be located behind the farthest right ridge.

SCW is actually in the lower left center of that picture (compare to sunnier days pictures) and that picture is apparently taken almost two weeks ago.

and anyways. my friend still exist in lworth..so i would consider my beta quite pertinent.

Ah yes I see.... Looks fairly bare on the face.

But you can't see the face of SCW. It's on the other side of that feature Al_Pine pointed out.

Look again.

The obvious dihedral on the formation Al Pine mentions is the Northern Dihedral. To the left of it, there is a tip of a tree pointing directly at the right edge of Library Ledge.

But that was last summer.

Yeah, you're right. My bad. I was looking at the wrong feature (the feature above the true SCW).
