joshs Posted October 30, 2003 Posted October 30, 2003 Hi all, Given the weather forecast, I'm considering skipping work tomorrow morning to find some freshies. However, I can't go too far due to time considerations, so I'm looking for something near Snoqualmie Pass. Anyone know of some nice heather / grass slopes that don't require too much of a hike? Kendall Peak, maybe? I suppose I could always just ski the lift-served area right off the freeway -- wheee! Thanks! -Josh Quote
AlpineK Posted October 30, 2003 Posted October 30, 2003 That's way too optimistic. Muir perhaps, Snoqualmie no. Quote
joshs Posted October 30, 2003 Author Posted October 30, 2003 Come on, guys! How about a little optimism? Freezing levels at 2000ft from tonight through Saturday, dropping to 1000ft on Sunday. All we need is a little precipitation! Come on, weather, you can do it! -Josh Quote
AlpineK Posted October 30, 2003 Posted October 30, 2003 Sure there's suppose to be 6" of new snow tomorrow... on top of no base It's a start. There's my optimism. Quote
philfort Posted October 30, 2003 Posted October 30, 2003 Given that its currently 40 degrees at the pass, and the forecast is "SCATTERED EVENING SHOWERS" tonight, and sunny tomorrow.... I'd say you're dreaming. Quote
