Where to get static line?

I'm thinking something that might do for a hand line or a pull line for rapping. Maybe just like 6 or 7mm perlon? Doubt it has to be that expensive super-strength shit.

 

Could someone point me places where one might be able to purchase a spool of like 100-200 feet that won't charge you an arm and a leg like a climbing shop might?

pretty cheap at second ascent I believe, but if you are set on not going to a climbing shop........could always try home depot or something along those lines

then again a climbing shop might NOT.

A good place for cheap static line is Wespur. It's an arborist supply with a shop in seattle and one in B'ham. Preety good folks there.

Climb with half ropes, then you don't have to worry about trailing, carrying an extra line etc.. much safer too.
