catbirdseat Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 My basement sump pump is running frequently. It hasn't come on in the last five years, so I know it's a wet year. This morning there was no hot water. The float must have malfunctioned at some point in the night and extinguished the pilot light on the water heater. I had to go down there and light it at 6 am. iain Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 this is much the same as the 1996 floods in Oregon, though there isn't a huge snowpack melting out on top of all this rain as well... Quote
