This summer Yos (Mike) and I put up a new route on the far left side of the Witch Doctor wall in Darrington. It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun too.

Many thanks to David Whitelaw for keying us in to the feature. He, Chris Greyell and Mark Hannah put up a new route this year just to the right called Solaris (IV 5.10b A2+). Both routes will be featured in the new guidebook to Darrington Rock that's coming out in a few weeks.

It's a good time of year for climbing this route. Good camping down in the boulders, creek full of water near by, and steeeeeep granite!
