i'm always buying size 12 leather tele boots but i top out at $60 bucks for like new, and 40 for avereage wear, and twenty for beat to heck but still good pin holes...

if you want sixty for them , let me see, i'll buy them in a heartbeat...

Actually, I preferred "riding the cow" as the phrase of choice when trying to sell my old Scarpa double-leathers. Awesome touring boot, but the wonders of plastic made me choose the Dark Side. I apologized to John Clarke about it sometime after, may he rest in peaks (all unclimbed, of course).

Only on looooonnnnnggggg casts does your arm have to drop for the delay. For short double hauls you can use the same effective stroke as a normal cast with no hauls. This will speed up the line and help punch all of the line coiled up on the ground/water. bigdrink.gif
