rbw1966 Posted September 2, 2003 Posted September 2, 2003 These are in excellent shape. Duckbill, size 12. Who wants to buy or trade? I'll let these bad boys go for $100. Lemme know if you want a picture. Quote
Crackbolter Posted September 3, 2003 Posted September 3, 2003 I already tried the same size. I'd let em go for $25.Top of the line Asolo's. Quote

thatguy Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 What's with the extra twitch on a single haul cast? Quote
Crackbolter Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 Some call it a double haul. Normally the second pull is much greater but the same speed as smiley. You will also notice a tailing loop. Quote
Crackbolter Posted September 4, 2003 Posted September 4, 2003 I think he needs to delay his back cast a little too. Just a half second more and it will go a little further...just a little...further. Quote
Beck Posted September 5, 2003 Posted September 5, 2003 i'm always buying size 12 leather tele boots but i top out at $60 bucks for like new, and 40 for avereage wear, and twenty for beat to heck but still good pin holes... if you want sixty for them , let me see, i'll buy them in a heartbeat... Awesome touring boot, but the wonders of plastic made me choose the Dark Side. I apologized to John Clarke about it sometime after, may he rest in peaks (all unclimbed, of course). Quote
thatguy Posted September 5, 2003 Posted September 5, 2003 Not like any double haul I've ever thrown. His (its) arm does not go down on the back cast, but I like it in any event. Quote
Crackbolter Posted September 5, 2003 Posted September 5, 2003 Only on looooonnnnnggggg casts does your arm have to drop for the delay. For short double hauls you can use the same effective stroke as a normal cast with no hauls. This will speed up the line and help punch all of the line coiled up on the ground/water. Quote
Crackbolter Posted September 5, 2003 Posted September 5, 2003 BTW, my Leather Asolos are for sale. Size 12. I'll take $20 for em. Quote
thatguy Posted September 5, 2003 Posted September 5, 2003 I'm in the market and the price is right but my feet are only 10 3/4. Quote
