The forecast calls for choss with scattered low-lying choss in the morning with increasing choss in the evening followed by more choss.

Bring a helmet, maybe two.

Had a good look at the standard route two weekends ago from Whitman Crest. Getting to the rock looked straight forward, some snow climbing above crevasses (that I think are always there). The glacier you'd be climbing up to access the rock looked to be littered with rock fall, don't forget your helmet.

I was up on Little T in June and then again on Rainier a week ago so here's what I can offer:

- Summerland looks completely melted out and can probably get to Meanie Crest without much snow travel.

- Meanie Crest is dry and campsites are melted out

- Fryingpan glacier didn't look too chopped up

- lots of rockfall rounding the corner by a waterfall to the upper Whitman glacier and from the headwall above the Whitman.

- The scramble above the Whitman glacier should be snow free by now

Good luck! bigdrink.gif
