First time in the monte crisco area for me and figured might as well climb the highest point to get the lowdown. Typical cascade climb, good trail turns to climbers trail which peters out and find your own way from here suckaa. The summit block was as wierd as I had heard, funky shit. Superb day, partner, and excellent views from the summit. Wise to fill up the jugs at virgin lake! Quote

nolanr Posted July 1, 2003 Posted July 1, 2003 Oops, didn't see this, posted TR on another thread. 12 hrs car to car, w/ some lounging and some moving slower than molasses cuz we were getting stymied by the brush. Could definitely be done faster than that. Yeah, take all the water you can get and then some. Ran out on the way back down, led to some dehydration and some unhappy, crampy muscles. Quote
