Rodchester Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Does anyone know of a local shop in the Seattle area? I have a mix of old cams that I am rehabilitating with new triggers and three need new slings. In not in Seattle, then one that does it via mail? Thanks in advance. Quote
snoboy Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Don't know Seattle, but Squamish... Drop them off at Valhalla Pure and OnSight Equipment will do them. Could probably do by mail too. PM me for more info if you want. They also do trigger repairs. Most manufacturers will do sling and trigger repair by mail, but I've heard some of them can be dreadfully slow. Quote
russ Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 I don't know if they still do slings, but Northwest Repair did some for me several years ago. Northwest Repair 4250 Fremont Ave. North 206 545-8683 Quote
Rodchester Posted June 27, 2003 Author Posted June 27, 2003 (edited) Thanks I just spoke with a woman there. very nice and sounds like it is not probelm (with a signed waiver ... of course). But she said they don't stock the material. Anyone know where I can get spectra runner/draw material/webbing that isn't already sewn into a draw? Edited June 27, 2003 by Rodchester Quote
snoboy Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 Just buy a nice long sling and chop it up. Gotta wonder if they don't stock the material if they are any good at sewing it though??? My buddy who used to work for OnSight tells me that Spectra is hard to work with. Quote

bunglehead Posted June 27, 2003 Posted June 27, 2003 If they're BD Cams, they'll sew new ones on for $7.50 a unit. Quote
