philfort Posted June 12, 2003 Posted June 12, 2003 Looking at the 92J mapsheet, a line from Wedge over Rainbow mtn goes over -Mt Callaghan -Exodus Peak -then a bunch in the Clendenning Range (Willson, Ralph, Pollock, Oswald, Perkins, Vanstone, blahblah) Â Can't tell anything from the 500ft contours though. philfort Posted June 12, 2003 Posted June 12, 2003 (edited) Exodus peak http://www.bivouac.com/MtnPg.asp?MtnId=711 looks like the broad dome just to the right of the pointy peak in sverdina's photo. Â ...Mt Tinniswood, like jordop said... Edited June 12, 2003 by philfort Quote
Don_Serl Posted June 18, 2003 Posted June 18, 2003 i'm sitting in toronto without access to my maps, but i'd say tinniswood - long, low-angled NE rock ridge, steep rock S face. nice peak, eh? attracted my attention from various points in garibaldi park too. there's no way in hell you can see QB (or wadd) from wedge. the furthest peaks in the NW, on a crystalline day, are in the tchaikazan. cheers, don p.s. so far as i am aware, the closest point to vancouver from which u can see wadd is ashlu... ScottPick Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Old post I know but that shapely peak on the horizon is definately Mt. Tinniswood. To left the high peak is likely Mt. Albert which is above Princess Louisa Inlet. Quote
