Retrosaurus Posted May 1, 2003 Author Posted May 1, 2003 Oh, I feel so silly. Duh, at the campground, of course. Quote
Crackbolter Posted May 1, 2003 Posted May 1, 2003 Banbury Greens just a few miles off the hwy just before you get to Penticton. Camping on grass and right next to the lake. Showers, good crappers and hot chicks. Plus a view of Skaha. Shady in the summer, $3 for all the firewood you can use, etc. Have fun! I friggen love that place! Oh yeah, make sure to stake your tent if you leave it (duh!) I saw a guy pitch his ten and leave his sleeping bag and clothes in it and it blew into the lake. When he got back the caretaker had hung up his stuff to dry but he had to borrow stuff from the caretaker for the weekend. Quote
Skisports Posted May 1, 2003 Posted May 1, 2003 Water world works too. They have a hot tub there and its closer Quote
bird Posted May 1, 2003 Posted May 1, 2003 Check this out. There is a public campground up the hill a little ways. It is complete ass, but it is cheap, maybe free... I can't remember. Quote

Grass away from all the yahoos (walkin camping) and showers... Plus the free camping is so fuking far outa town its cheaper to stay at the RVlot. Carcamping on the street is legal too, if the mounties don't catch you. Quote

Dru Posted May 2, 2003 Posted May 2, 2003 Close down Slack Alice's (peelers) or Barley Mill (brewpub) then sleep off indulgence in your car in the parking lot till its climbing time again. Quote

I was being literal Staying inside a house is not camping, so the "best place to camp" is therefore in the yard...with the apple orchard on one side and the hot tub on the other. Quote
