DonnV Posted October 18, 2001 Posted October 18, 2001 I live in the Portland area and need to get some gear (mostly camming units) reslung. Any suggestions for someplace local that does this? Or has anyone had good results shipping their gear off to someone to do it? Quote
Wallstein Posted October 18, 2001 Posted October 18, 2001 ship it to the manufacturer. They will be happy to do it for you. I think a company called onsight in bc will also do it for you. Someone said wildthings will also do it. I don't any local places that do it. Quote
freak Posted October 18, 2001 Posted October 18, 2001 I ususaly sling em myself, I dont know who you could send em to maybe back to the manufacturer, nic Quote
willstrickland Posted October 18, 2001 Posted October 18, 2001 You might try calling Climbmax (21st and Division) and asking them. I know the ClimbAxe arm of their operation works with some softgoods, they may be able to do it in-house. Quote

Peter_Puget Posted October 18, 2001 Posted October 18, 2001 Silly Question: Did you get much choice of collor? Quote
genepires Posted October 18, 2001 Posted October 18, 2001 There was a company called C&S here in western washington that made all kinds of aiding gear. They have a industrial stitcher and do sewing. From what I have heard, don't ask them to make quick draws though. Quote
Wallstein Posted October 18, 2001 Posted October 18, 2001 Peter- Most places that do it will let you send in the webbing you want on there. You just have to collect all of the right colors. [This message has been edited by Wallstein (edited 10-18-2001).] Quote
Peter_Puget Posted October 18, 2001 Posted October 18, 2001 Thanks. Seems like the color choices available locally are fewer than they use to be. Quote
