We were soaked by the time we finished putting our boots on. Didn't bother to get a lift ticket but just walked up the hill half a dozen times instead, till our gloves were sopping wet sponges and we were good and sick of it. Visibility on I-90 was about 100 yards, between the rain and fog. But boarding was still fun, even under the most unpleasant conditions imaginable.
