I'd like to climb in the lower gorge this sunday. MAYBE satuday, but it'd be a late start for sure. Any takers? Anyone already going wouldn't me tagging my lame gimp ass along? BTW my shoulder is getting better. I led some routes at Broughton yesterday after 7! weeks off. I was able to do an ez 11a so it can't be that bad.

go for the ushba if it's just for easy glacier ice routes. There are even cheaper ones available (titanium). They have red caps. I don't know the name. BD express are the way to go on steep ice. Reason? They go in much easier.

There are pleny of routes like it in the N.Cascades that haven't been climbed. Unless of course you think it's a must do classic? I just want to know what it was like? Post a pic! bob was just trying to show how good of a climber he is by that last part of his statement... Yes, Bob that route is a joke as grades go. a 4th class 5.7, a bolt on a flat surface... Not very ultimate or everything at all. Fun though and a good way to add to an el cap day. The same party put up Millenium Falcon which is not sandbagged and kinda challenging so I hear.

I dated a girl once who turned out to be waaay into this crap. When the festival came to town and she wanted me to go with her, I called and left a message on her answering machine, "Uhhh. Megan, this is Mike. I just got fired from AAI so I'm gonna go to the Tetons and Rockies for a couple months. I'll call you when I get back." well i guess it's a matter of opinion. Here's a photo of Eagles Domain from the Great Game and a photo of a 5.9 pitch on Unfinished Symphony (one of the few sandbags in Squamish-I thought I was on the 11b pitch on the 10ds) Yes, there is a slight camera tilt.
